It’s a little bit much for me to imagine I’ve been involved in web publishing as a business since 1999 but that’s the tale of it. I didn’t know this industry as anything but what it has been. I’ve seen big shots from the ‘old media’ reign in the new media. And I’ve seen folks who got started in new media develop strong brands.
I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way. I’ve made plenty of mistakes. But I really believe the future of web publishing is very bright. I don’t think its limited only to the technology industry. I think it will continue to really blossom out into other areas as time goes on.
My passion has always been as a publisher. Hopefully I will be able to share a bit of the wisdom and the folly that I’ve gleaned along the way.
