One of my favorite travel guides on the planet is Lonely Planet. I frequent their forums a lot when I’m on the road. So this one hits me pretty hard. One of their authors a 47 year year old has disappeared in China.

Lonely Planet

A search has been launched for an Australian travel writer missing for more than a month in a mountainous region of Tibet.

Clem Lindenmayer, a 47-year-old Victorian man who has written for the travel guidebook company Lonely Planet, disappeared while hiking near Minya Konka mountain, also known as Gongga Shan.
