Lily Allen hangs up the blogging guns

British Pop Idol Lily Allen has given up on blogging. I tell you what if I was famous I would have given up on blogging too. It must be such a burden. But on the other hand wouldn’t blogging help her public image by giving a different perspective? Just my opinion.

The 20-year-old British pop singer/drunkard isn’t so keen on being in the spotlight as she once was, you know, with all the fury over her petty feuds with Amy Winehouse, Cheryl Cole, Lindsay Lohan and the rest of the civilized world being seized upon by writers. Allen’s tired of the constant tabloid pressure, she said, and wants to ditch the drama and go back to the simple life of being the daughter of well connected industry types who drinks too much to put on a proper show. Totally understandable, Lily.

Pfffft. She’s been the most frequent, frank and open “celebrity blogger” for the past 18 months where she has given her different perspective but anyone who has watched the way the tabloids then turn everything she says into “celebrity wars” via the magazines can see why she’d take a break.
The tabloid stuff was always started by taking by her very open blogging manner. It’s fair to get tired of blogging and take a break. She’s only slowing the amount of posts. The better quote to have used from that link was her of own words.

Nice to see you back blogging BTW. Though lose the 120 second refresh rate. Lamest way to boost page views. Ever.
