I’ve had a bit of a case of bloggers block and I realized the intrinsic reasoning behind my case of bloggers block was because of my persistent denial that I hate the word Blog.
I had spent about 6 weeks working on Performancing Partners again after I rejoined SplashPress only to find that I was about as wanted their as a box of old prunes. It does put a bit of stress on certain relationships and I’m totally baffled at SplashPress’s leadership but more than any of it all the thing I walk away with in all of it is I’m sick of the word blog. And if anyone asks me about that word for awhile I will look sadly away and continue on with whatever I was doing.
I’m no longer a blogger. I’m a publisher and I’m not here to give free advice for bloggers if you want that head over to ProBlogger or any of the problogger clones.
The thing about Blogging is it takes hard work. That’s my free advice. Take it or leave it. I personally don’t have the energy lately to think about all that hard work of mass producing content and hoping someone takes notice.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks the word ‘Blog‘ is tainted.

I completely agree with you about being tired of the word blog. I realized that this past year. Blogs, blogging, its all a passing fad, they are still just web sites, or publishing as you put it. I make a conscious effort to buy domains for my sites that didn’t have the word blog in it.
